Arizona Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., launches its modernized website to promote social, educational, and conservation objectives.
The new platform hosts several advanced tools, including a new blog, marketing templates, automated forms with online payments, and better club information for prospective members.
AFGC President Judy Kennedy announces the launch by saying, “On behalf of the state, I invite all members of every garden club and plant society to actively participate in the new state website. The more that we share then the more enthusiasm we can build to promote our shared goals of beautifying all communities in the state of Arizona.”
The new home page features the latest news as posted in recent blog posts, upcoming events, “Come Grow With Us” membership, member resources, and conventions. These areas are also included in the new top menu along with programs, calendars, and events.
A new donation area allows everyone to make an online donation by credit card including a directed donation to Blue Star Memorials; scholarships; technology upgrades; or general fund and to name the gift in honor of or in memory of a member.
The new blog offers a platform for members to share and discuss topics such as gardening, wildlife, club activities, floral design, natural resources conservation, horticulture education, and community projects. All members are encouraged to submit AFGC blog articles through the newly appointed Blog Content Manager. What kind of blog articles? Good ideas include… Announce your club events like flower shows and plant sales. Share your best gardening ideas. Show off your wildlife and floral photography. Invite the public to your community project day. Be creative! Be sure to check AFGC Life Membership.
