Yippee, it’s been Convention Time again! We gathered Arizona Garden Club and Plant Society Members. The event was open to Spouses, Guests, and General Public.

We had all the FUN with amazing speakers, inspiring tours, gorgeous flower shows, and exclusive shopping!

AFGC presented “Vistas,” an NGC Petite Small Standard Flower Show

Vistas Flower Show was free and open for viewing to the general public on Friday, April 14th from 2pm – 4pm.

Vistas had 3 petite design classes and 5 horticulture classes including cacti, succulents, miniature roses, african violets and combination plantings.

NGC updated the 2017 handbook in July 2022 and it is available only in digital format…

$People’s Choice Awards$ Contest

Members were awarded cash prizes in 4 artistic design classes including tray design, photography, succulent/cactus collection, and creative line design.

Four members won class awards including Judy Shelton, Barbara Mlnarik, Karen Lyman, and Micky Rustad. The Best of Show award went to Micky Rustad.

The 50/25/25 Raffle

This 3-way raffle drawing was a huge success for fundraising. The winners were Carroll Parrott and Myra Lader.

The Club Baskets Raffle

The Club Basket donations and raffle drawing were very popular. Each participating club built a themed basket. All club baskets were displayed on a table top in the Encantada Ballroom. Raffle tickets were drawn during Sunday brunch.
