College students can apply for a $4,000 NGC scholarship through our AFGC Scholarship Chairman, Jamie Dick. Information below describes the scholarship program and provides a link to the NGC website for more information. Contact Jamie for information at azgardenscholarship@gmail.com.
- NGC provides 45 college scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each annually. Feb. 1 of each year is the deadline for NGC to receive all applications.

- One-year scholarships are available to juniors, seniors, and also graduate students earning a Master’s Degree.
- Sophomores may apply for their junior year.
- The college/university must be accredited and listed on the official website for the U.S. Dept. of Ed. (http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx)
Application Procedure
- Email or Mail applications to the State Garden Club Scholarship Chairman for the state in which the applicant is a legal resident, even if the student is attending an out-of-state school. (AZ Scholarship Chairman is Jamie Dick, azgardenscholarship@gmail.com)
- The following documents must be submitted: (front side only)
- NGC Scholarship Application form
- NGC Financial Aid Form
- Complete academic transcripts
- Letter from applicant, one page – front side only
- List of extracurricular activities, honors, recognitions received within the last three years (front Side Only)
- Two letters of recommendation, one page per letter – front side only
- All of the documents are to be submitted online at https://gardenclub.org/college scholarships, or by email or by mail, in one large envelope. Do not bind or staple documents.
- A list of State Scholarship Chairmen is available on the NGC website. DEADLINE: Received by February 1.
- Applications may be submitted directly to the NGC Scholarship Chairman, via our web page https://gardenclub.org/college-scholarships .
- Previous applicants must submit a new and updated application package.
