This Gardener’s Pledge is in support of National Garden Club’s Conservation Pledge which is to “protect and conserve the natural resources of the planet earth and promise to promote education so we may become caretakers of our air, water, forest, land, and wildlife.”
Arizona Federation of Garden Club’s vision is to “Empower people to beautify Arizona communities while conserving our natural resources.” Truly, if every person committed to rethinking our everyday habits especially with our gardens and food sources then we will surely have a grassroots movement towards a greener future.

Club-level Pledge prizes are part of the AFGC President’s Project 2025-2027 and are only available to member garden clubs and plant societies whose membership is in good standing with Arizona Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. The pledge drive will operate from date of inception through April 1st, 2027; all pledges collected during this timeframe will be tabulated and counted by AFGC for award purposes during the Biennial State Convention 2027. Any pledge collected after the end date will not be part of award consideration. The Gardener’s Pledge may continue to remain active after the end date just because it’s a great idea and we all need to be reminded.
