Welcome to Desert Designer’s & Gold Canyon Garden Club’s Small Standard Flower Show. Members of Desert Designers & Gold Canyon Club come together to expand their knowledge and skill of Floral design. They study design types and present designs at their meeting according to the Principles and Elements of Design. They observe nature through the eyes of a designer.
The purpose of a Small Standard Flower Show is: to educate club members and the viewing public, to stimulate interest in horticulture, to provide an outlet for creative expression, and to convey to the community the objectives of National Garden Club, Inc.
The Flower Show is held in honor of Kim Gray, Executive Director of Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Arizona’s largest and oldest botanical garden.
