Another garden club year has begun with lots of exciting events, projects and meetings planned for our club members. Please share your club’s activities with other garden clubs around the state by writing a short blog.
300-600 words are fine for a blog, but blogs can be any length.
Send at least 1 photo, or let me know and I’ll find a photo for your blog. People in the photo must sign a permission form, your club president has it, in order for the photo to be posted on the AFGC blog site.
Each district is assigned 2 months to send in at least 2 blogs on any topic members wish to write about. Send the blogs to Karen Bowen’s email.
Time sensitive blogs that you want members to attend should be sent to Karen 2 weeks in advance to make sure they are posted before the event happens.
There are so many exciting things planned for this garden club year, and we want to read all about them. Blogs can also educate our members about a special plant or animal. Life members can be highlighted in a blog, blue star and gold star memorial dedications, and flower shows.
