The AFGC Convention is April 27, and the Pacific Region Convention is April 28-30. Held at the Wyndham Phoenix Airport/Tempe Hotel, 1600 S. 52nd St., Tempe, AZ, both conventions provide opportunities for garden club members from Pacific Region’s eight states to meet, share ideas, and gain knowledge from the many events held throughout the event. Attendees will enjoy hands-on workshops, educational sessions, keynote speakers, and the “Art in Bloom” exhibition flower show.
The “Art in Bloom” exhibition flower show pairs floral designs with artwork. Each designer is assigned a painting or sculpture as inspiration for their arrangement. Color, form, texture, rhythm and theme connect the show’s floral designs to their inspirational works of art.
From April 27 through April 30, the flower show will be on display inside the lobby area of the hotel. There is no charge, and the public is invited to attend.
Information about the conventions can be found at https://azgardenclubs.com/conventions/
