If you would like to share information about your club’s events and activities or information about a plant or Arizona creature you think fellow members would enjoy learning more about, it’s easy to do.

  1. Write your article, 300-500 words, more or less.
  2. Choose 1-3 photos to go with your article. If you don’t have photos, the blog manager will supply at least one. Copyrighted photos cannot be used. Pixabay is a website with license free photos you can look through for ones that fit your article.
  3. Email your article and photos, if you have any, to: azgardenblog@gmail.com.
Attach your article and photos to the email. Give your garden club’s name and any offices you hold.
  4. Blog Manager, Karen Bowen, will then send your blog to the company that adds blogs to the AFGC Greenleaf Blog. Email Karen if you have any questions or need help.
  5. You can read published blogs at azgardenclubs.com/blog.
  6. AFGC wants all our garden clubs to participate in adding blogs so that our club members can learn about events and activities going on throughout the state. Our members are always eager to learn new information about Arizona’s plants and animals, too.
  7. The blog site continues throughout the summer, and this is the perfect time to write a blog and send it in.
