It seems the last two years have flown by. I’m sure our AFGC officers and officers in our local garden clubs feel the same way. Time flies by too fast!
A big Thank You goes to our present AFGC state officers: president – Judy Kennedy, first vice-president – Jennifer Moreland, second vice-president – Cauleen Autrey, Recording Secretary – Lenda Sundene, treasurer – Peggy Ahola, and asst./ treasurer – Renee Waite.
Their efforts have improved the AFGC organization by updating the by-laws, beginning the AFGC Greenleaf Blog, sponsoring both the AFGC and Pacific Region conventions this year, and much, much more.
Our AFGC officers are garden club members who volunteered to take on the task of running our state organization and helping our garden clubs grow and continue to be successful. For that, We Thank You!
Also, a big Thank You to Jennifer Moreland and Kim Rosenlof for being chairmen of both the AFGC Convention and the Pacific Region Convention for 2025. We are excited to attend both conventions and meet fellow garden club members and learn from the many expert speakers providing programs. The field trips and workshops will add extra fun to the conventions.
